Julianna Turned 9!

So my daughter turned 9 last month. January 10th to be exact. I can't believe that this is the last year that her age can be measured with a single digit. Not only that but she's half way to leaving me (gulp, sniff, sniff). Half way to 18 when she will be an adult and ready to take on the world. How did this sweet babe grow up so fast?

When asked what kind of party she wanted she immediately answered that she wanted a sleepover party. I kinda figured that was where we were heading. After all, all the birthday parties that she has attended in the last year have been sleepovers.

Todd and I talked it over and decided to throw her party over Christmas break before he had to return to school and his amazing basketball team (more about that later, Ann :) wink, wink!)

She had a great time with two cousins and one BFF. It was small but I liked it that way. They spent their time making jewelry, decorating cupcakes, watching a movie, and of course hamming it up for the camera!
